This evening, while we ate dinner, Adam decided we should watch
The Princess Bride. I know it's something of an iconic film for people my age, but I've always found it to be kind of annoying. (Don't throw tomatoes.) But I watched it anyway, though to be more accurate, I watched my family while
they watched it.
And I wasn't disappointed: they laughed and chattered and had a great old time. And me? I found myself filled with a deep sense of contentment. And that's one of the biggest blessings of all, I think.
