Today was a beautiful day for baseball. 

And it was a beautiful game for the Spartans, who came away with a decisive victory. Isaac contributed with two walks and a single, and was in a great mood on the way home afterward.

The way this team has gelled together over the past eight months or so is so lovely. They chattered as they arrived, chattered as they warmed up, and chattered during the game. They genuinely like one another and have formed sweet connections.

And it's been so, so good for Isaac. And I couldn't be more thankful for that truth.
