There are a handful of certainties in this life: we'll all die some day, we'll all be subject to taxation at one point or another, and Brady will wear a beanie no matter how warm it gets outside.

Indeed, the temperature soared well into the 80s this afternoon, but that didn't stop Brady from going to school with his beloved Ravens beanie on his noggin. When I suggested it might be a bit much on an 80-plus degree day, he shrugged and said he'd take it off when he felt like it. 

So I left it at that.

It's a blessing to see him growing up and making some of his own (albeit bizarre) choices. Just watching my kiddos as they continue to further grow into themselves is an amazing gift.
