I dropped Brady off at practice this afternoon and then, after consulting GameChanger (also known as The App That Mostly Controls My Schedule Between March And August), I whimmed it and headed over to the Sports Park to catch some of Nikki's son's game.

I very uncharacteristically didn't think to take a selfie so this hastily snapped shot will have to do, but I had a lovely time chit-chatting with my pal as we kinda-sorta watched the game.

Nikki and I have been friends since Brady and her son Austin's first year of preschool, and she's always been someone I can count on to "get" me and my quirks.

So for her and for our continuing friendship, I am so, so grateful.
