I had an interesting Valentine's Day. It featured flowers, a long-overdue visit with some old friends, two highly entertaining strings of text messages, compliment cards for Isaac that made my heart absolutely melt, and the revelation that somewhere in our plumbing, we have a leak. (I'm still not a big fan of the latter, but you take the not-so-good with the good, right?)

As always, these people helped to make the day great:

I am so, so blessed. I have terrific kids, a great husband, and amazing friends. What more could I ask for on a day devoted to love? Not much.
