Truthfully, I didn't get a whole lot done today. I got up late, mostly hung around the house (save a quick late-afternoon jaunt to deposit Brady at one of the sports parks' ball fields for practice), and worked on a handful of crochet projects.

Since I don't have a whole lot else to say, here's one of them. Once it's finished, it will be a shawl that may or may not have pockets. (Jury's out on that one.)

So today, I'm grateful for soft yarn (because this one feels really nice!) and for the opportunities I have to sit and just create. Given how busy I was 24/7 just a decade ago, I know that free time and having ample chances for rest and reflection are big blessings.
