Craig was the Youth Pastor at our church until a few months ago. All of the high schoolers were sad to see him go, so Abby was pleased to come face to face with him tonight during a Costco run. (And a quick note: they slid their masks down for approximately two seconds to take this pic. That's it.)
I could tell that the exchange made Abby happy, so tonight I'm thankful for brief encounters with friends and for the blessing that Craig has been in her life and in those of her friends. People who can connect with teenagers in a meaningful way for an extended period time are amazing.
