Isaac had a few games today, so he and Adam and I got up early and headed up to Concord.
Neither of the games were awesome and it was a cold, intermittently cloudy, windy 55-degree morning (yup, in July) up the freeway so it could've easily become a frustrating experience. But it wasn't, because any one-on-one (or maybe I should say two-on-one) time with this witty, thoughtful guy is always a blessing. It was fun to see him turn plays, it was fun to see him bat, and it was fun to see him laughing over the old John-McEnroe-Misbehaving video clips Adam showed him on YouTube during his long lunch break. It's the little things. Truly.
