Brady and the Phillies held on in the face of a dicey bottom of the final inning to claim a berth in the season's championship game next week.

And afterward, we headed over to dinner at the Black Bear Diner with Adam's parents, who had come down to watch the game. 

It was a fun game to watch. (Well, except for the very end of it. That wasn't as much fun as the rest.) We had a good time talking during dinner. And I think we were all in a generally positive collective mood.

So tonight I'm grateful for good teams and good people, and for chances to spend time with family.
