Brady wasn't sure what to do with himself after he finished his homework this afternoon, so before he could think of playing a video game, I suggested he go outside and practice on the hit-a-way.

And that's what he did: he popped in his earbuds so he could listen to a baseball show, put on a beanie (since it was a bit chilly), and spent some time taking hacks at the ball-on-a-string.

I like that he actually took my suggestion. And I like that even though the baseball season is over, he's still working on his skill set. Both are blessings.
