Karine stopped by for a quick visit this afternoon, and Adam lit up like a Christmas tree.
She was one of his very best friends in high school, and although we hadn't seen her in a number of years, we used to hang out now and again in our post-college younger days. (Usually at A's games, since she worked for the organization for 14 years and often left tickets for us at the call box.)
Anyhow, she's a terrific person so it was great to see her again. But beyond that, I know Adam was happy that she took the time to stop by. And seeing his enthusiasm is a blessing to me.
