This evening after dinner, I looked over at Brady and Isaac, who sat close together on the couch with their heads bent over a phone.
I was, as I have been many times in the past, struck by the sweetness of that moment.I'm not particularly close to either of my siblings; I love them, but we've never been "sit with our heads together and conspire" tight. But these two boys of mine -- they're most definitely co-conspirators.
They don't always get along, but underneath the occasional squabbles and low-boil competitiveness that makes them snarkier than necessary at times, they're best buds. And I am grateful for that.
