I came around a corner after dropping Brady off at school this morning and spied a rainbow in the distance. I smiled at the sight, and quickly snapped a pic as I silently thanked God for its colors.
I finished my drive to the Mother Ship, pulled into a spot in the parking lot, looked up, and saw a full rainbow arched all the way across the sky. That small bit of loveliness I'd spied just a minute or two before was just a small portion of the complete rainbow. The contrast between the two images reminded me of an important truth. Sometimes, I don't expect much from God, so when I see a small blessing --like the corner of that rainbow-- I stop looking for more. But if I'd just keep seeking, looking, and asking, I'd eventually notice the scope of the big picture; in this case, the full rainbow.
So keep looking for the full rainbow and find all that God has for you today. Don't be satisfied with a sip when you could enjoy a full gulp.
