October 9

The boys didn't have school today so I went to bed last night without setting an alarm, even though I knew I had Bible study this morning. I reasoned that if God woke me up before 9, I'd go. Naturally, my eyes flicked open at 8:55. I knew I had to keep my word, so off I went.

And I'm so glad I did. I was 20 minutes late (because I had to stop for coffee first; I'm an idiot without my morning joe) but the ladies --as always-- responded to my tardiness with grace.

We had a great discussion about our current subject matter and I came out of the meeting feeling good. Refreshed. Ready for the rest of the day.

So for the blessing of connection with them and with all of my friends, I am so grateful.
