This is how I found Brady when I got up this morning.
He was hunkered down on the living room floor playing a video game (apparently while simultaneously watching a video on his computer), surrounded by a menagerie of stuffed animals.I love that he still does this. He's going into seventh grade and will be 13 by year's end, but he still lugs his favorite stuffies around the house.
Kids face so much pressure to be older and more "mature" (whatever that's supposed to mean) that it makes me happy to see that my kid knows that he's still a kid and that engaging in kid activities is just fine.
So for that wonderful innocence, I am thankful.
