There were so many good things about today.

This morning Abby and I went to the Mother Ship and to the mall for some window shopping. This afternoon I spent some time outside soaking up the warmth of the sun's rays while Abby and Isaac and Brady peacefully joined forces to play a video game. 

And then this evening, I went to Dani's dance recital. It was a little weird being there in the theater without a kiddo of my own --or me-- on stage since I spent so many years either watching or performing alongside my girl, but it was fun, too.

So many good things from a single day. So much to inspire thankfulness in my heart.
