Isaac's college departure date is approaching rapidly, so we're mostly lying low and hanging out as a group while we can.

This evening, after his friends had left and we'd finished with dinner (and the A's game ended with yet another loss -- talk about a tough season), he said he'd like to watch "The Lego Movie." So that's what we did.

Although I cringe at the thought that "Everything is Awesome" may well play in my head on repeat for the next few days, it was truly fun to watch it again. It's great family-fare, full of silly jokes and sillier characters. And it serves as a good reminder that we're all unique and special in our own ways, just as God made us to be.
