I've been making a concerted effort to finish abandoned projects, so I picked up this one from the stack and am working on it this evening.
Although I haven't touched this particular piece in several months, I do like it quite a lot. It's warm and heavy, even though by square inch standards, it's pretty small. And it's satisfying to gradually coax it toward completion with new stitches and rows.
So today I'm thankful for the motivation to work on it and for the enjoyment that doing so is bringing me. Even things that seem old and stale can become new and fresh again if we remain open to possibility.
